The Board of the Fan Association of North America is working on a variety of initiatives for our 2011-2012 year, such as establishing a new Mentor Program and planning the celebration of FANA’s 30th Anniversary. Read on to learn more about a few additional options that we are implementing.

Junior Membership: A Junior Membership for $25.00 is now available to children and young adults through age 24. Individuals will receive the Forum by e-mail along with the Membership Directory; they may attend Assemblages and regional meetings, and purchase fans at fan sales and auctions. Junior Members will not be eligible to vote, hold office, or receive the Journal.

FANA hopes that eligible, young adults will enjoy having this economical introduction to the wonderful world of fans and take advantage of joining our organization. Please go to the Membership page and download the membership application. The $25.00 check, made payable to FANA, and the applicant’s date of birth are also necessary to complete the request. We look forward to welcoming many new Junior Members.

Paypal: FANA members can no longer pay their dues through a credit card. However, FANA now has a Paypal account to use to pay dues or assemblage fees. For more information, go to our PayPal Payments page.

Newsletters: Our Forum editor, who coordinates publication, of our quarterly newsletter has suggested that a new feature of our website should include selected articles from our previous newsletters. We invite you to visit our site again to view these worthwhile documents that often chronicle FANA’s research and activities.
